Yes, the grass will discolor at the base of the fence especially if applied with a sprayer. The great news is that during the growing season the grass on an irrigated lawn should rebound within three to six weeks.
Sprinkler marks will appear within weeks on a fence after application of a stain/sealer. It is recommended to adjust sprinklers to prevent overspray or striking on your fence.
Yes, but we recommend that the older section of fence be cleaned with a bleaching process to remove mold or mildew prior to stain application. After the cleaning process, stain can be applied to the entirety of the structure. Variations may occur after staining old and new sections of fence. We recommend the use of a Semi-Transparent stain since this formulation contains more pigment and will provide a more uniform appearance.
